The most common uninsured motorist coverage is bodily injury. My particular policy has that but doesn't have uninsured motorist property damage which would pay the deductible if you have collision

The most common uninsured motorist coverage is bodily injury. My particular policy has that but doesn't have uninsured motorist property damage which would pay the deductible if you have collision coverage. Whether the insurance company will pony up depends on the OP's type of uninsured motorist coverage. The injury coverage is pretty standard, the property damage is not typically standard since for full coverage it only pays the deductible anyway
