Witnesses, idiot.

Yes because witnesses are guaranteed to see a small animal in front of another car. Go BS elsewhere.

seems like majority of the people here do the right thing and move over to the next lane... I wonder what the outcome would be in other forums.

nuTinmuch 04-21-2010 10:30 AM

If there is another lane, I'll move over -- but unless they are driving like a total tool I won't pull over, I'll just do the limit and let them crawl up my *** all day long.

It's stupid to just slam on your brakes, though.

InTheZone 04-21-2010 02:04 PM

Just stay in the right lane so you don't worry about tailgaters....

Drop it into 3rd-4th and take off for a couple secs just to be like "my car is faster than yours so stop driving like an idiot", then return to normal speed.

I used to do the brake check thing when I was younger. I did it to some chick, she slammed on her breaks. On the verge of loosing control of her car she almost hit the car in the next lane. Wouldn't have been pretty.

I always yield to faster traffic. When it's possible my favorite is to speed up and down a little, or very frequently tap the breaks without really breaking.

Or even better, squirt the windshield wash fluid so they have to deal with the over-spray.

Only IF your car is dirty. =)

I mostly just ignore them. Sometimes I slow down. In Tennessee people will ride your *** whether you are doing 70 or 20.

Memphis, Jackson, Bolivar, Martin, Nashville, Knoxville, Clarksville, etc. I really want to blame it on new teens that hop into mommy and daddy's car.

On my way back to Huntingdon, TN from Middleton, TN at about 10pm, I had a great experience. On US-70 W coming off I-40, I got behind someone doing 5mph under the speed limit, which isnt bad, I wasn't complaining, they were give or take 3 car lengths in front of me, then suddenly they start randomly slamming on the brakes. I slow down to more of 5 car lengths to be safe, then they literally SLAM the brakes on me. So I figured my safest course of action would be to simply pass them, speed up to my normal 5-10mph over the posted and be done with it.

I thought wrong, I pass them, and what do they turn, they turn on their high beams the ENTIRE time while behind me and speeding up to be right behind me. I tried brake checking, because they were certainly riding my ***. But to no avail, I didn't feel safe speeding up anymore, so I decided to drop my speed from 65mph to 40mph. Then when I was 10miles from my turn, since they were the only car behind me, I decided to drop to 20mph (posted 55mph) the entire way to my turn, then, just to be a jerk when my turn came up, I slowed to 5mph and took the turn as slow as possible. Keep in mind they STILL had their high beams on, and only turned them off when another car was oncoming.

I think there needs to be a way to get these morons off the road. I'm not going to say I was in the right for acting like a **** myself, but what drove me to it from simple stupidity of someone who could have caused an accident, especially tailgating with those damned high beams.

Blow me retard, this is phoenix arizona. There are no animals just running around, they would die. Wash my nut juice off your chin and waddle back to your twinkie, you're done here.

Take a day off!

bigdog1250 04-21-2010 11:39 PM

I find the funnest and most effective thing to do is to just simply let of the gas. This is especially fun when its only a 2-lane road. Drop your speed from say 50mph to 25mph... wait till they are pissed and try to pass... then rocket off!

I actually love it when i get to do this ;)
