370z Vs. '10 GT
 

so.. now that the new mustang's numbers are in.. a 0-60 of 4.9.. an msrp starting even LOWER than the z.. good handling.. good brakes.. and obvious curb appeal.. which one would you choose? comments?

This is the best looking mustang in my lifetime for sure. As far as the comparison goes, I guess there will be people that cross shop these cars but i personally wouldn't.

Z forsure.. only mustang youd catch me in is a roush or Gt-500

I am with the above posts. Do not consider these two cars in the same class.

Mustang is definitely an option still for me, but I'll more than likely have a Z.

My only gripe about the car is the SRA. With the new 5.0 though, that could make up the difference.

at the end of the day...ur still a stang =(...so Z all the way. sexier...sleeker..not american made lol.

Anyhow, the Mustang looks pretty good. You can't beat V8 torque and sound either. However, it doesn't fit my personal style and taste (i.e., I look awkward with a Mustang). It is also a boat (look at the convertible).

So... 370Z it will be even if it's not the fastest or best handling. I'm happy as long as it is a good upgrade over my 350Z.

hmm looks good, but how much does it weight?

Motor Trend had 3572 with the track pack (includes bigger wheels).

lol...sorry liquid...i just noticed that u drive an 06. my buddy has an 06 gt with some mods (catback, chip, intake, lowered, and lighter rims, and others). he beat my 350 by quite a bit, but now were dead even. but...i think its time u let go of that piece...and hop in a 370 =D

haha ssq im pretty sure the new mustang is more than handsome and sleek in all it's respects.. plus it doesn't have that out of place "butt-hole" on the rear bumper.. not to mention it has those cool rear lights where 1 panel lights up after the last. i know what you're saying tho the z is more reliable and more exotic in it's demeanor.. more attractive to the opposite sex maybe?

I don't realy care for the new Mustang design. 0-60 in 4.9 out of a V8. Funny, Nissan does it or comes close with a V6. And the looks better. ;)

Don't forget about the 03-04 SVT! 390HP... $500 more and it's 490HP! :) Good times.

You're on a 370Z forum, pretty sure a majority of the members here would choose a 370Z...
