passengers

is it legal to have someone ride in the back of the 370z, if i move the passenger seat all the way to the front there is enough room to fit one more person in the back. but my question is how much will the ticket be if i get caught? thanks

AK370Z 04-06-2010 05:49 PM

 I hope you're joking.

phelan 04-06-2010 05:52 PM

that's one small passenger in the back :icon17:

in all seriousness...wtf? no, don't do that.

striderx88 04-06-2010 05:52 PM

no im serious im just wondering is it legal?

marcussoori 04-06-2010 05:53 PM

That actually made me laugh out loud! Not sure how much the ticket will be...

striderx88 04-06-2010 05:55 PM

im know its funny but i need to take my gf and her sister to school

Vegitto-kun 04-06-2010 05:56 PM

it is illegal as the car is registered as a two seater + it not having seat belts in the back

280z/300zx 04-06-2010 06:05 PM

Take the GF and her sister somewhere else and have more fun:driving:

striderx88 04-06-2010 06:06 PM

can u add a third seat?

phelan 04-06-2010 06:09 PM

at this point, you might as well shove one of them in the trunk. but really, this is such a bad idea on so many levels.

Trips 04-06-2010 06:09 PM

Plenty of room for Midgets!

Montez 04-06-2010 06:14 PM

It is a bad idea, but we use to do it back in the day in my Mom's 280zx from time to time. I think it was more space in that hatch area though.

nuTinmuch 04-06-2010 06:16 PM

i cant believe they made this car with only two seats who could possibly only use two seats werent they thinking about those of us that need more than two seats what if you have to carry your dog and your friend you have to tell one to move because of two seats two seats two seats two seats

two seats

FuszNissan 04-06-2010 06:19 PM

You smuggling alien midgets.

fullmonty 04-06-2010 06:23 PM

How old are you kiddo? 18? Please stay in school because you are in need of an education.

Zigen5 04-06-2010 06:27 PM

Depends on where you live. It is only illegal in Texas to have passengers in the pickup bed if they are under 18 -- individual townships and counties can make more specific regulations.

Note you are exempt from the regulation if the truck is the only vehicle in your family

Hi-Step'n370Z 04-06-2010 07:10 PM

THAT would be very dangerous, no proper protection, no seat belts...........DON"T DO THAT!!!!!

or in other words..........DON'T DO THAT!!!!!

Zaggeron 04-06-2010 07:24 PM

To answer your question -- if your state requires passengers in rows other than the front row to wear seat belts, then it is illegal. It would be a seat belt violation.

If you do it anyway ... bring a blanket to cover up your GF's sister in case you get pulled over :stirthepot:

370Zvetlana 04-06-2010 07:45 PM

makes me wonder how someone with the intelligence to ask such a questions has such a car..... oh ya, DADDY

370Zvetlana 04-06-2010 07:46 PM

btw, you could fit 4 passengers in the car if you really want, one in each wheel well.....

trent1331 04-06-2010 07:52 PM

Let me google that for you

efuseakay 04-06-2010 07:52 PM

It's legal if you toss the GF in the back... ;)

KillerBee370 04-06-2010 08:08 PM

antman22 04-06-2010 08:19 PM

i say you just go ahead and try it. on the way to school, find a cop and validate. come back with results. we in no way are responsible for the outcome.
