Call the police department to negotiate on the ticket cost first, try to get discount for student price

Well... I was riding in the back of my friends old dodge in his hatch thing on an airmatress. He got pulled over for not having a seat belt, same for his passenger. However me, the one sitting on the air matress didnt get a ticket haha. Only the front is required for Michigan. I thought that was a awesome moment. I still rub it in.
