This is 'not' a Nissan site, correct? I was about to enter, but I want to make sure this is not a site where they bombard you with salespeople (ala Mall's car giveaway scheme).

No its a drawing, the more questions you answer the more times you are entered in the drawing. If you answer no questions you can still win, but answering questions will give you a better chance.

Maybe it's just like the "Toy Yoda" that hooterless Hooters waitress won all those years ago!

Is a Sweepstake, you are going to be answer all those questions.

why not just create a new email address just for this draw and then ignore it or shut it down after this is done? and if you win it and don't like it just send it my way.

Im sure it's bogus, You know when you go into a mall and sign up to win "that" car sitting there? Nobody wins it, they use your information on the card with your phone number and sold to telemarketers.

It is not bogus. I am the director for the ZCCA and know David Ciulla...I had advance heads up about this as the winner will get the car in Nashville at this year's convention (I am the chairman for this year's event).

A little while back I created a "crap" email address, so when I don't want crap sent to me, I just have it sent there and rarely look at it.

Do you have to be at Z Con to get the car if you win I wonder? LOL

They fly you there all expenses paid /w $500 when you win it.

I have recently been contacted by Nissan USA to announce this sweepstakes on the forum.

So :bump: and sticked. Keep submitting your entries and answering the trivia questions.

FYI: I am playing this one as well. I won the first 370z from the Best Buy / EA Sports Need for Speed sweepstakes last year. People really DO win these things. AND the great thing is that I was not bombarded with emails and telemarketing calls. One must read the Official Rules to see more details.

LOL @ Cpt ... yes yes .. most people on this site know I won the Z last year. Let's see if I can go for round two and get a second one for the garage! (FYI: Federal taxes were approximately $12,000 - so technically you "win" a car for the price you pay on a lump sum federal tax scale)

Well tonight I went in to answer questions and it started me from the beginning again as if they lost all prior info...........

In fairness, it's not their fault. Canada has some harsh rules when it comes to sweepstakes, and each province is different.

One of them requires you to pay a 10 or 15% fee (I forget) for the value of the prize.. along with a bunch of other hurdles.

Sometimes it unfortunately just doesn't make sense for the company putting it on. :(

EDIT: Oh I forgot.. in the US it has to be a complete "lottery" style.. it can't be a "game of chance".. everyone that enters has to have a fair chance of winning. In Canada, it's the opposite.. you HAVE to have some sort of qualifying question, even if it's a simple math question or something, it can't just be equal. I may be missing some details, but the structure of what's mandatory is opposite between US and Canada. Makes it hard.

I seriously doubt it's bogus - ePrize (the base domain name) runs promotions like this for many big companies (including Coca-Cola for MyCokeRewards.com)

I can't understand why people are crying foul on this. Legally if it states in the rules that something will be given away, then contractually, they are obligated to meet these rules.
