Default just noticed 3-4 small roundish dents...

3-4 of them all kinda in a line on my hood near the driver side. very subtle i mean you have to kneel down and look for them. but they are there. kinda looks like hail damage but its the only spot on the car i could find and there kinda in a horizontal row. my question is this.

it hasnt hailed since i got the car 3 weeks ago. nor has anything touch the hood other than my wash mit. so im thinking this was something done at the dealership. am i sh-t out of luck on this as far as getting it repaired by the dealer /warranty? im sure even if it was like this at the dealer and they knew about it. they would play dumb and deny it all day long but figured id post it. it kinda makes sense to me now why they were trying so hard to get rid of this car.

alumimum hoods are hard to PDR, i know from experience. but it is not impossible to do if there is available space behind the dent to push out. chances are, glue pullers will not work.

see if your dealer can hook you up with a PDR tech.

I had almost the same thing, 2 dents on the driver's side of the hood right around where the mount is on the underside, that I didn't notice until I was getting out of the car one day. Just as you describe, they looked like small hail dents. I took the car to Dent Doctor in Little Rock (noticed you were from AR) and they got them out for $75.

I tried calling my dealer about it since the car was less than 1 week old and they had just done the prep the day I noticed the dents but I was all but called a liar and told I must have done it because they inspected the car and it was "immaculate."

Looking at it now you would never know they were there.
