I did have a group of kids stop, drop their bookbags, and begin doing the Thriller dance in excitement when they saw my car. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
rofl at the Thriller dance. Yes, the kids definitely like the Z more than any other age group. I like that, I remember being a kid and gawking at sports cars.

Oh my gosh, especially the kids! They all stop and stare, and go "Look mommy/daddy, cool car!" A lot of times I try not to look, but I always drive off with a big smile on my face.

Haha imagine how the parents must feel, driving a minivan and then having their kids say that....

More like douche magnets. With warmer weather I've been getting tailgated and cut off more often. It seems to occur more while I'm in the Z (Fridays are fun days when more people mess with me than anything else).

Last weekend some dude in an old 4cy Altima sped up right behind me and nearly clip my front end from the right turning lane. I ended up behind him anyways because of traffic, and he completely ignored me while blasting his music. He was hitting at least 80mph on a 40mph zone just to pull off that stunt.

A couple of days ago a white Volvo tailgated and cut me off as I approached an exit. I ended up behind him as well. The guy continues to tailgate and cut other people ahead. He probably hit at least 80mph on a 65mph zone. On average, even at 70-75mph freeway speeds people still tailgate and cut me off, but that's not car dependent.

At least twice I'm on the left lane, and as the right lane ends either:
- I get tailgated as I approach single lane, and the driver cuts me off using the opposite lane.
- Driver keeps driving next to me until the lane ends, speeds up and cuts me off at the last minute.

When trying to merge people actually speed up next to me or past me making it difficult to merge. O_o

It's not too often, but that's what I've noticed the past few weeks.

If someone buys a car thinking that they are going to pick up women they have a problem...

Men are the majority of the population and of course u will get more looks from them.

The latest reports I can find show females are 50.9% of the US population, but only 49.75% of the world population.

Probabbly true! However, how many females out of that % are interested on cars?

If you need a car to pick up women, that is the root problem right there.

If your woman can pick up a car, that would be your other problem.

Am I doing this right?

Just enjoy the car!
If you do end up meeting a foxy girl that's always a plus!

On a more humorous note, my Z was parked in front of my office yesterday. I was in the reception room for a moment. An attractive young lady walked past the car, eyed it up, glanced over at my office, saw me, opened the front door and said, "I really love your new Corvette." I just chuckled and said "Nissan Z." She said, "Oh, whatever," smiled and left. I left it at that. Women!

I've had it called a Porsche before as well.
