Got my windows tinted! Pics inside
Got my windows tinted the other day. I think it looks great, the black on black looks really menacing. A pic of my GSD also included.

that looks a lot darker than the Z IMO.. so if you didnt have a problem with that.. you should be fine..

Love it! You appear to own the car of my dreams!
How much do you pay in the USA? In England I've paid £170 for both of my last Z tints (no front screen tint, of course) That works out at about $230, at current rates. |

Nice tint.
Yeah IMO the 15% was probably too dark- but hopefully you never get stopped but if you do always good to roll down both passenger windows so the COP doesn't hopefully notice the dark tint in your windows. |
How much did your car cost with the Navi?? and is it 6MT??
Also I have a GSD tooo lol |
Man, it looks good in black with that tint...youre making me rethink my color choice (and Order)
|
With the Z's blind spots possibly being a problem already....how much harder are the tints making your driving?
I could imagine at night, changing lanes and also reversing could be much harder with the tints? I'm getting a black 370 like yours too and I plan on getting 5's but having second thoughts because it's hard to see out of the car to begin with. |

If you're concerned about reversing, get parking sensors or a reversing camera. All I'd say is, if you're new to Z's, be very aware of the width of the wheel arches - It's a wide car and easy to scrape. ...oh, and go for the tints (if it's legal!!!), but don't go too dark. |

At night, it was IMPOSSIBLE to see anything out of the back while looking through the rear view mirror. Tints most certainly do affect how hard it is to see out of a car. Have you ever been in a dark tinted car brotha? |

I disagree. I had 15% on my last car for 2 1/2 years and there was very little difference in visibility. The Z is the same. Perhaps the tints were different brands or types than what I have/had. |

I found driving at night there was no problems with visibility with the windows rolled up. The only time I noticed where people with questionable eyesight might have problems is where there was NO tint in the driver/passenger (eg windows rolled down) then shoulder checking through the tinted windows. When all the windows were the same it was fine. |

i'll be doing 5% on my 370 most likely. 5's are dark as shitttttttt |
