370z After some breaking yo!

I was wondering,
Does it harm a car, after you break it in. To drive it at high rpm?
They say its built for it, but everytime i hit like 5k in my other Z i always thought i should shift.... =[
Im just a terrible driver.

<point though....
Can i drive and always shift at 6/7k rpm? (when im having fun, not 24/7, or just driving consistenly at this RPM, just speeding up quick.)

Speaking of "high" are you "high" right now sir? This question makes no sense the way it is written.

if you keep your car perfectly serviced and the engine's warm then it's fine.

you can go high revs after breaking it in but I do advise only doing it when the engine is hot

your gas mileage must stink if you're always shifting at 7k hehe. i must admit, it is plenty fun hearing the z scream!

No problem if you use a good engine oil,the only worry is the A/C compressor that may wear faster..so switching off your maybe a good option.

As some mentioned, Do not just start your car and start shifting at 6-7K. Drive for a while, bring the engine temp up, take outside weather into consideration, keep the car well maintained, watch the posted speed limit etc and if everything looks good, I don't see why you can't shift high.:driving:
