370z After some breaking yo!
I was wondering,
Does it harm a car, after you break it in. To drive it at high rpm? They say its built for it, but everytime i hit like 5k in my other Z i always thought i should shift.... =[ Im just a terrible driver. <point though.... Can i drive and always shift at 6/7k rpm? (when im having fun, not 24/7, or just driving consistenly at this RPM, just speeding up quick.) |
Speaking of "high" are you "high" right now sir? This question makes no sense the way it is written.
|
if you keep your car perfectly serviced and the engine's warm then it's fine.
|
you can go high revs after breaking it in but I do advise only doing it when the engine is hot
|
your gas mileage must stink if you're always shifting at 7k hehe. i must admit, it is plenty fun hearing the z scream!
|
No problem if you use a good engine oil,the only worry is the A/C compressor that may wear faster..so switching off your maybe a good option.

lol at the title.

As some mentioned, Do not just start your car and start shifting at 6-7K. Drive for a while, bring the engine temp up, take outside weather into consideration, keep the car well maintained, watch the posted speed limit etc and if everything looks good, I don't see why you can't shift high.:driving: |
