vdc defaults back on every time you turn on the car.

BS flag your buddy couldn't have turned it off and kept it off unless the car ran the whole night. Note to others keep the VDC on unless you know what you're doing. Sorry to hear about your accident, I'll say it here just as in previous threads, you can get it fixed but it won't feel 100% the same.

Oh and it's going to take FOREVER I think it took Juan about 4 months, very hard to get Nismo parts, hopefully done by June/July

Ins is a funny thing. Whenever I get a 370 it will be cheaper to insure than my current Fit.

Yeah my insurance isn't that bad, pressing the VDC=4 months no car, what a thrill!

$hit happens lot of power I drive sometimes without VDC on you just have to know your car and when to take your foot off the pedal!:stirthepot:

While it takes some balls to own up to your own mistake (well, besides blaming it partially on a friend), you had to expect a little bit of flames from the self-righteous, perfect drivers on these boards. You know, the ones that have never sped, over-accelerated, under-steered, or made any other mistake behind the wheel of a performance car.

Hope the car is ok, and you avoid whatever mistakes you made in the future. Poor Nismo!

I learned my lesson the easy way with VDC. Went through a series of twists and turns without my VDC on (had NO idea exactly what it was going to do, and was thinking it would increase my accelerating capabilities). I almost lost control around a corner, but was able to countersteer and slow down a bit. I got off with just a little sweat on my forehead and a crappy feeling in the pit of my stomach. VDC has been left on to this day!

Yeah, seriously... just own up! Don't delete the pics and try to drop it on a friend. Wonder if we'll ever see the OP around here again (at least under that user name?).
