You guys would love my office for parking.
It is a small office <20 people and basically it is just an open area behind the building. Three cars park near each other (2 mustangs & my Z) and everyone else leaves us alone basically and tries to get as close to the building as possible. We try to park nicely with enough space to respect each other, every so often someone in the office tries to be funny and park near us, it is not funny. On campus I pay extra to park in a parking garage, top floor or one below is usually 65% full at the most so plenty of spaces free to have extra room on either side. |

This morning as I was walking to class, I saw this fun surprise that someone left me last night:
http://i920.photobucket.com/albums/a...44556847_0.jpg And the driver (of a Saturn Aura, no less ) had Faculty tags in the car, so he or she could've parked inside the University garage. I left a quick one word note on the person's windshield: "Douche". I used my left hand so if the driver turned out to be one of my professors, I wouldn't be identifiable. Parking in the city blows. |

Luckily, my license plate took the blow. In fact the two little nubs actually left slight indentations in the person's rear bumper. |

City driving is insane, there really is no point in keeping a nice car in cities. If I were you I'd buy a beater to take around the city and keep the Z for weekends in the country or the track. |
When I first purchased my Z I went to the movies with my wife. When I came out, I found a D-bag with him POS rusted truck parked so close to my car I had to back out to let my wife get in the car. The best part is I went out of my way to pick a place away from everyone

That's too bad waaaasabi that you can't swing another car. I am fortunate to own a 92 explorer (Bought it new and still runs great) that is perfect for snow days and any bad weather. My Z stays safe in the garage, and I am driving a 4wd vehicle in bad weather, win win.
I think when you buy a car like a Z, that really is not what you would classify as "practical" a second car is almost a must. I mean how do you buy something big at the store? I guess you have to get everything shipped to you. |
