when I was a teenager, used to cut the lights and use the e-brake to evade the cops! fyi I don't recommend this!

Man you guys are hating on him for trying to make a Z batmobile. I for one will support his imagination. Alright dude first thing you need is some radar reflecting flat black paint. I'm sure any stereo and alarm spot can hook you up with a kill switch for your lights, might have to give them some extra under the table. Go buy Call of Duty special edition since it comes with night vision goggles. Stay away from any aftermarket exhaust systems since it will make your car louder and easily discernible. Police scanners are illegal to posses, you can get blinders and radars for a pretty $, hope that helps.

Oh sht, I just read he's on the East Coast, not the type of guy I want to be sharing the road with, hope you aren't in NY.

I guess I should be like you. :stirthepot:

dude honestly, you come onto a forum on which if you looked around is made up of a diverse age group. These guys are mainly professionals or wise enough not to do crazy stuff by the cops. We all want to stay out of trouble but I don't see how any of your ideas, beyond your radar and blinders would do nothing but get you more attention by 5-0. Just drive safe and use common sense. Take it from me man, I was a dumbass with a fast car when I was in my teens as well. I raced every car I could find and I always initiated. You know what that got me? A court date for 32 points and a bunch of attorney and court fines. They will get you, nothing you can do will stop that but your own discretion.

^^I've been in the game long enough to know the deal. I started a thread looking for ideas on stealth technology. All I got was sanctimonius preaching and insults. I guess that's how this "diverse group" communicates. If you had nothing to contribute to the thread, or did not like the subject matter...DON'T READ IT OR MAKE POSTS!!!!!

Get the night rider car and your all good.

I get the idea...in Ohio, tickets do equate to heightened insurance - for years.

Get a good BEL (I use a V995) or V1 and I think the retractable license plate is a great idea.

Personally, I've done 60k miles of road-trips in 44 states in my Z32 and have yet to get a ticket. The CB definitely helps - ESPECIALLY if you're with others.

Speed smart...if you're unsure if the fuzz is about...keep it 5-over or less. just my two cents...

ROFL

I think the guy is a drug mule!

There are actually several uses the IR camera can perform.
If you are travelling at night on roads that are not lite it can help prevent hitting dear etc provided it's used in addition to headlights; and it can show debris in the road long before you reach it.

Just because you're paranoid DOESN'T mean they aren't watching you!!!

Do you drive with IR goggles? This thread is hilarious!

Have a friend who is a State Trooper and the advice he gave me is 8 MPH or more over the posted speed limit is what gets their attention. Situations such as weather, traffic volume and driver reactions play a role in their decision making.

If it is 2AM with little or no traffic you may perk their interest at 7 MPH over, but they do prefer the bigger prize for reasons of safety. Switching lanes quickly and tapping your brakes at night (dipping headlights) increase your chances to get pulled over.

If you get selected as a guest speeder, be respectful and man up. Your chances of getting a break are much better if you tell the truth instead of making up a bunch of tall tales. You may not get out of a ticket but your actions and how you present yourself in that short 3 minute window may get reckless dropped down to regular speeding. Most State Police officers are former military and they have heard and seen it all.

Enjoy the car, nothing limits you on how fast you can get to the legal speed limit as long as you're not spinning the tires! And remember, no matter how fast you think your car may be, it's hard to out run the radio!
