From reading a lot of the posts, you don't need an oil cooler unless you are tracking it. Then he will need lots more than $700 to get into the game.

Oil coolers really aren't that expensive. You can piece together your own kit for under $300.

Not to mention this comes with the thermal plate which the Stillen doesn't. It just makes it more Daily Driver with the thermoplate - no need to monitor oil temps, etc. You want the oil to come up to temp - its very important for lubrication.....
