You need to get a hold of spooler.

RPF1 17x10 +18/+38 how about this

chendaxian888 01-04-2024 10:31 AM

from the sport rim size the 10inch rim is +30 offset so 17inch x 10 +30 is the best fitment

I assume you are running out of traction on the street given your above opinion about running the MT's? Good luck getting any additional traction from any radial on an unprepped surface. You are rolling the dice! NOW, if your question is for a slick that is going to be used on a drag strip, that's another can of worms that goes outside of JUST a tire recommendation.

In short, need more details. Where are you planning to run this much power? Street/Track/Mix? How much tail wagging are you willing to accept? With as much as that turbo kit runs, FI, without install charges (unsure if you did the install yourself), why risk an accident on the street (if you are in fact trying to use all that power there)?

My assumption Spooler will say put Proxy r888r on.

Also, why the hell do you have 3.9 gear ratio. That's terrible for boost.

yes kinda terrible, I rebuilt my diff with z1 recommendation for tracking, It was too fast to shift, the car stay very short in gear and slip like hell

Hi, my FI was installed and tuned by Seb at SZ, it is very reliable and great. My goal is racing at street witch is 60-130mph some thing like that, I need better grip tire, I already have KWV3 and spl arms for suspension so all I need now is a new set of wheel and tire. what do you mean "getting any additional traction from any radial on an unprepped surface." ? the uneven road bump? I want no slip from 60mph, 3rd gear at 60mph if I can. You mean I should go play in drag race in track?

If this is what you are wanting to do, PLEASE take it to the track. There are too many variables on the street to drive at these speeds, and inevitably someone is going to get hurt. PLEASE, for the sake of the car/enthusiast community as a whole, DO NOT do this on public roads.

Do you have sport brakes in the rear or the base single piston rears ? You could run 17's with the bigger brakes and a Mickey or M&H (lower tire pressures on a warmish day should help you with traction). Or do one better and run 16's (don't know if 15's would clear) on the small base brakes and run a taller tire. Its all up to researching a decent setup for your purpose and power level !

gbrettin 01-05-2024 03:00 PM

You're on your own if you want modification help for street racing. I'm not taking any part in this.

Yes I have sport brakes, in my research you need up to 17in in the back to clear it, and you must swap to 350z base brake and rotor to clear them

Docile with a hint of heartburn. Let's derail this thread.

Made what the fiance calls "stupid" burgers tonight.

Homemade everything bagel buns
Calabrian aioli spread
Finely shredded and ice bathed iceberg lettuce
Black pepper apple smoked thick cut bacon
80/20 beech smoked ground sirloin
Melted and charred Swiss cheese
Sliced avocado
Bacon fat fried egg with runny yolk
Fried garlic onion frizzles
Homemade thin sliced dill pickle coins

Shove a steak knife through the top to keep everything structured and unhinge your jaw to consume.

Side drink was a "smoky carrot"
Bourbon glass with ice ball
1 shot mezcal
Topped to 3/4 glass carrot juice
Finish off with Ithaca ginger beer
Add curled candied carrot to rim

I'm not sure you're gonna get much help given your intentions. Please do yourself, the car enthusiast community, and the general public a favor and take it to the track.
