Identify this...

What is this piece called? Is it just transferring load from Subframe/engine mount to body? Can I take off in this position or do I need to Support subframe on

What is this piece called?

Is it just transferring load from Subframe/engine mount to body?

Can I take off in this position or do I need to Support subframe on inboard side? Car is currently on Quickjack, supported on pinchwelds.

And are bolt heads under carpet in cabin?
