Sorry to hear about the mishap, but that sounds like exactly what you should have expected from EVO-R. Assuming you actually receive the product, you generally get what you paid for with Jay: cheap a$$ knock-off products :eekdance:

Not many (esthetic) aftermarket wings can withstand hurricane force winds and several hundred pounds of downforce, which is what they are subjected to when travelling at 150 mph.
|
A big wing has to stand up a couple feet in the air, with skinny legs, and have to remain standing against tens to hundreds of pounds pushing down, transferring that downward force onto your car.
For a piece like that, function and utmost quality comes first, neither of which EVO-R is good at. Consider yourself lucky you weren’t going through a high speed corner when it broke. |

It seems that these wings are for looks and not function. Maybe they should have a sticker on them saying this? :-)
Oh, and also put on the sticker that in California it has been determined that they produce cancer. |

Oh, and also put on the sticker that in California it has been determined that they belong on Honda's Fify |
This is why I spent the money on the Aeromotions.

Should be a warning sticker out back “follow me at your own risk”. OP, best of luck. Time to invest in some real deal wings. |
The APR wings were used on the Pirelli World Cup Challenge Z cars with the supports mounted to the chassis, not the hatch. What they found was that if mounted to the hatch. At speed, the hatch would bend. Causing the wing to bend and crack, then break.

Be happy that's the only thing that broke at 150-155 and move on.
