Maybe the restriction is "don't put explosive Takata's in?"

Sub'd. Which dealer did you go to?

Also, I'm pretty sure I passed you on southbound Mopac yesterday afternoon a little after 5 pm near the Braker exit. I was in the Lexus with the Z34 license plate lol

I went to Round Rock Nissan for the state inspection. (i live like right across the street on old settlers lol)

I would not have noticed at all. If I was heading south, i was going to my PO box. I can also guarantee if it had the aeromotions wing it was me. None of those clapped out Zs these kids got will have that on their car lol.

Received same letter in the mail today. It’s on their dime and if it doesn’t take more than a few hours, I’m probably going to let them replace it.

Might be worth removing it and seeing if the dealer will give you a replacement.

NHTSA search comes up with nothing for mine. Did those who received letters check NHTSA as well?

Looks like Nissan is collecting samples to test for degradation.
