That's what a machine shop is for. Just because the dealer doesn't do the machine work doesn't mean they won't rebuild an engine.

just saying, it would make more sense for them to replace the motor, not rebuild it.

Nissan's policy is to replace the motor, and bring the damaged/failed motor back to corporate for analysis. They don't let their dealers rebuild engines, the grease monkey's don't receive enough training.

hello fellas well i just bought a 370 nismo the engine blew at 10,200 miles the tranny went out at 14,000 the car has never drove the same my mpg went to 14 and the car makes weird noises and is definetly not what it was from the day i bought it only 3 months ago. time to park it in front of the dealership i bought it from with a giant nissan vehicles are lemons. I hope nissan isnt gonna try to bully me like they do some customers who just want their money back because they got a bad vehicle.... hey nissan its part of doing business once in a while you have a bad product and in my case i got the worst i hope nissan gives me my hard earned money back. I agree the numbers sound kinda fishy. Of course a 1000 miles a week is possible if you have a long commute to work every day. Just hard for me to imagine someone buying a new NISMO for that purpose. I've had my 370Z for nearly 3 months and not even 400 miles on it yet. Still...makes me wonder what motive someone would have to come in here lie about something like that.

yes fellas i can drive up to 2000 miles a week i buy a new car everyear sometimes two cars and for your info you can call me or mossy nissan's service adviser josh taylor over at mossy nissan el cajon. and for the people who just are talking smack FYI i own an atm company all i do is drive around all day from gas station to gas station on the freeways filling up atm machines
