Please clarify what your original issue was? We're you having a flashing airbag light on your gauge, or was your passenger airbag simply OFF (no flashing airbag light on gauge).

Reason I ask is because my passenger airbag is still set to OFF after resetting the flashing gauge light months ago.

I'm curious what kind of damage is caused by the passenger airbag deploying. I never drive with a passenger, so perhaps it's best to leave that airbag off.

Sooo, nobody disconnects their battery before they mess with anything electrical? I put a stereo on mine and before I reconnected my battery I made sure all plugs were...well plugged back in. haha
