I highly doubt it will be worth much more than the standard Z's in the future. Just look at the 35th anniv edition 350's, there is little to no premium on those.

I had a 20th anni 280zx. There were 3000 made, 2500 in gold and black, and mine was one of 500 in red and black. There was little to no mark up on them, but I personally think it was due the 1980 being a less than desirable.

The 40th is a limited edition, so anyone with a 370z will understand the value, but to anyone who doesnt know the brand/models it will be just another good looking sports car. Ive had my 40th for almost two months now and the first thing that most people comment on are "wow those are really nice rims". Im not one to brag about rims, i bought the car for other reasons, but peoples eyes seem to immediately go to the rims. Car enthusiasts will understand why the 40th is worth it, but if your not concerned about this, then get a touring or sport.

After seeing my friend 40th Ann. I would say that is definetily a collectible. The car was giving a little bit of everything except more HP. But the car is bad a$$.

the dealer i bought mine from has a big sticker on another one out front that says $5,512 off of sticker price!
they do this two weeks after I buy mine, and that's like $1,000 less than I ended up paying and yes, everyone loves the wheels...... |
