Did anyone have a Nissan 350Z?

How here has had a 350Z before, during,or after the time you had a 370Z? How did you like your 350Z? Your experience owning a 350Z discuss? I had a 03 350Z and 08 350Z and they were almost equally as good as the 370Z. The 350Z’s I had were dependable, reliable, fast, and fun vehicles to own. Only the 350Z was not as fast as the 370Z at the track. I like the body style of 370Z more though. I ended up trading in both my 03 350Z and 08 350Z and eventually I got my first 09 370Z!!

I had a ‘07 Z before.
What I miss: -stock exhaust note -rear windshield wiper -oil pressure gauge What I don’t miss: -smaller rear quarter window -everything scratches so easily -cheaper interior -rear strut bar in trunk |
Still have Lemans Sunset 04.5, Ultra Yellow 05 both boosted....
|
Still have my 2003 350z Touring--Silverstone/burnt orange seats.
Actually,my fav over the 370z. |
I had an 07 Touring with a Nismo catback Miss the exhaust note I dont miss worrying that everything i touched on the interior was going to scratch

Old man has an ‘08 350. Thing that I notice the most when going between cars is the steering feel. Love the heft in the wheel on the 350z.

Had a '08 350z touring hr, nagano red.

Amazing color. And actually, back in 2010 There was one on the side of the road for sale while I was doing a job not too far from home. I eyeballed it for a month or so every day.
Stopped to get a closer look twice. Liked the car....Loved the color. I was planning to buy a new vette, Buuuuut; 2011 I bought my Black cherry 370z. Just couldn't get that look and that color off my mind. Friday she goes in for a fresh coat of black cherry !!!! |

2003 here.:hello:

2006 MT Enthusiast.
Lots of great memories (yes, you can get 5 people in the car if you are creative). Ran it from 6 on the odometer to 186,000. Never had a single problem aside from a clutch change @ 135,000. The only downside, as others have mentioned, was how easy it was to scratch the interior. |
Silver Alloy Metallic color looks very sharp on the 350Z. You have to love some of the colors that came out on the 350Z a specially interlagos fire and black cherry. I really liked the oil pressure gauge that was a perk. Other than having to replace a few interior parts due to scratches and the rear strut bar in the trunk I really enjoyed owning the 350Z!

I just sold my 2003 two months ago and bought another 370.
To me the 370 is far superior to the 350 in fact imho the design of the 370 beats any car on the road. I am so jaded! |

had a 07 350z roadster before switching to a 370z roadster in 2011.
the 350z is a nice car to drive, but that's it, speed it up to 180km/h and the vibration is just so horrible like it will fall apart at anytime. the interior is cheap plastic everywhere. I like it but it doesn't make me want to keep it. it's huge difference to the 370z especially the chassis is much better and more stable. |

the 350z is a nice car and the 370z is an improved version in all aspect..... maybe except the exhaust tone. However, I think Nissan purposely lowered the exhaust tone to reduce the interior noise level.
|
The 370Z was very much so improved coming from the 350Z. Suspension a lot better and weight distribution is more efficient and improved according to Nissan. The exhaust note through is too quiet and leaves a lot to be desired so doing exhaust is a must do.

I did, Blue 2004 Z which I TTd with forged engine and tons of ancillaries.. was quite a cool car. Sold it in 2010. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNbGpJLeTNw&t=1s

I never owned a 350, but I drove my buddy's all the time in college. I loved driving it and that was all it took... 8 years later, I bought my '12 370. The 370 def feels beefier as far as power and handling, but the 350 was crazy fun to drive.

2004 350Z. Owned her for a week shy of a decade and put 261,000 miles on the odometer before I laid her to rest.

I had a pearl white '07 350z... no mods except electronics. Sold it in 2010 when I moved to NYC... got into a 370z when I moved back to FL in 2014.

my350z.com used to be cool, until the 350Z’s dropped low enough in price to where the civic kids could buy one and now run by ricers. Just a matter of time before the370z.com is run by those same ricers.

Loved my 350z, and a lot of good memories of it. It was my first fully functional car - everything worked, and that was a novelty in itself ;)
I had mine for a bit over 50k miles. I did hate the cheap easily scratched interior and the lack of high end grunt, although it definitely had more immediate torque than the 370z. Anyone who thinks the 370z has the same problem being easily scratched has just never owned/been in a 350z for any length of time (and God forbid your wife or gf operated anything in the 350z with long nails). |

My ‘07 looked like that at 81k miles and right before trading in, i Plasti-dipped the arm rests, center console cubby door, and pretty much the entire interior. |
you don't think they are already here?

IMO, many members here are knowledgeable and helpful in their posts. They add values to the members and the site.
Unfortunately, those few immature members here often post the most and flood the site with irrelevant posts that only take up space and add to their post counts. Quote:
