Whatever your circumstances, i think its pretty ludicrous to decide what you should do with a goddam online poll

I make decisions base on what I need at the time. I knew what I was going to use for the car. Being a track rat. I improved on what I thought was the weak links in the car as my driving improved and I got fastest. Once I get the coil-overs and 6/4 big brake kit that I want (dream off). Then I might go FI. Have to have the car to be able to handle the extra power first, before adding a chit load of power.

Step 1: High Risk Power.

Step 2: Don't look back.

Is it though? Look at all the quality suggestions and responses he got from that one simple question.

This actually reminds me of a good story.

The leader of the Sikh empire, Ranjit Singh, was a very powerful man, who was extremely wealthy had and a great amount of knowledge and wisdom. Though he had all of this he wasn't easy on the eyes, he had a visible lazy eye.

One day someone went to him to take a under the rug type of jab, the man jokingly said "Hey, Ranjit, where were you when God was giving out good looks?". People laughed. Ranjit replied "While you were in line for good looks, I was busy building the skills required to build an empire".

As it's been stated before, power > looks. When you have power people look at what and who you are. When you have looks people will also look at ya, but looks aren't enough skills to pay the bills.

Or, just buy a 911 and be done with it. :stirthepot:

I recently joined a club though, that has meetings and shows fairly regularly in locations really close. I enjoy showing this car off, and I love when people have positive comments and compliments on it. I do daily drive my car so I wouldn't want to go overboard with power. I was thinking about wrapping the car and I was priced at 1800 for any design/combination of designs, as the price is for the amount of material and it would cover the entire car. That's why I have had a touch time deciding, is because I want to show off the car, but I also want to have a grand time driving it.

It sounds like you might as well do both! Nothing wrong with spending money on both looks and power.

Personally I am planning on alternating between the two, since I'm in the same boat as you. Starting with a CBE, then hopefully getting a NISMO conversion kit. I don't think it's ever been done before.

I will say this though, I'll always appreciate someone who focuses solely on power rather than just on looks, such as sleeper cars. Here in the UK, all we seem to get are little VW Polos which are cambered out so much that they're scraping the floor. To each there own, but I just don't see the appeal...

I get rid of the motor home. You never know. Might be a 488 Pista. It would be cheaper. :icon14:

That is too true... I would pass on the 488 Pista. That's just me though.

If looks don't matter, then why did everyone here buy the Z?... instead of an old rat rod or something?

The number one answer is I wanted a sexy two seater with some power that wouldn't break the bank (speaking figuratively of course) that not every other swinging **** was driving!
