There's a lot of things I could do with 40k if I wanted a 370Z, and decals aren't one of them. A used car with 10k miles and 100k warranty

I just looked up the 35th and it actually had a bump in power and other upgrades. That all makes sense to me and is what they should continue to do with these anniversary models.

I would even be satisfied with a decent appearance package. It worked for the 40th. The offering for the 50th is an insult to the car and the owners all the way back to 1970. Kirk B. |

As a Z enthusiast I am thankful that Nissan still produces the 370Z model fortunate for us Z owners. Despite these resent reported slump in sales the 370Z is still a desired and wanted Japanese sports car to own in the current vehicle market and has excellent resale value as is all Japanese sports cars which is one of the perks of owning a 370Z and they are enjoying to drive! I believe if Nissan changed their styling of the 370Z slightly, added performance, and kept the cost of owning a 370Z at a decent price they would get more yearly revenue and increase sales. Discontinuing the 370Z model or the GTR model would not be in Nissan’s best interest I believe. The future of the car market today is more aimed towards the electric and hybrid cars unfortunately but, you can blame the average consumer for that. If Nissan did produce a new model 370Z or Z car it would have a futuristic look to it not what you would think.

If I were going to bump power, I would start with the NISMO add all of the bolt-ons. Really max out the NA spec. I think tooling to do a one-off, forced induction, short-run factory product would be cost prohibitive, but I've been wrong before... Kirk B. |

Each to their own. I'm in the crowd that thinks the decals were a lazy way out. Clearly it seems like Nissan is just clearing the parts bin.
Realistically, I think Nissan should've at least set up a package that addressed some of the most pertinent issues with the car: CSC and cooling. I think the jury's still out on the Exedy clutch. The cooling is such a joke, though. I mean they gave the Nismo a redesigned bumper with blocked off brake ducts, and stuck solely suspension/chassis upgrades. Downforce wasn't even a real consideration. In the grand scheme of things, the Z was never meant to be completely thoroughbred like a Porsche. In 2009 this all was still surely passable, and the whole stretch into 2019 as the same car is a tired-out rant, but yeah, a commemorative Anniversary car should've really had more to it. |

After seeing the new 2020 50th Anniversary Z on the show room I believe that silver and black looked to be the most sharpest color scheme between the two and I believe the difference color hoods really offset the Z a lot. All over it’s a beautiful vehicle to own if you can swing it but, to each their own. Shop around and you will find some decent deals out there. www.autotrader.com www.cars.com www.ebaymotors.com

I can't argue with anyone, Nissan did in fact take the cheap way out. For those that just want a basic Z with some decent options and interesting looks this is a good choice.
