Zeds dead baby. Zeds dead.

Still kind of in shock. Has to be a total right?

Went to make a left turn, saw a blue blue, next thing I'm sitting in a smoky car facing the wrong way. I've taken plenty of hits racing karts but never anything like that. But I walked away unscathed. Banged my finger a little but I'm fine. Airbag hit me in the chest but I'm good.

God I loved my z. What a ******* shame. Pardon my language.

My ce28s survived as did my back wing and tinted tails and my exhaust and and cats also will be there. I want to recover the ce28s. How does one go about that with the insurance company and adjuster? Can I buy it once its declared a total loss? I've heard of that in the past but have no actual knowledge on it.

Ugg, not good. Glad you walked away.

BettyZ 07-20-2019 03:46 PM

So sorry to see that. You have the option to buy the car from the insurance company, I believe.

I was able to buy mine back. Once they determine it's a total loss let them know that you'd like to buy it back. They'll determine a value and present it to you.

Thanks for the info guys. I would like another Z but itll be hard to find one as good as that one for the deal I got (12k miles sport with lighted kickers upgraded sound garage queen 6mt for 18k 3 years ago).

This sucks.

I hate stories that end like this.... glad your ok. Get checked out and call a lawyer.

What’s a blue blue? Police?

gbhrps 07-20-2019 06:31 PM

Krazzzz,

Any accident that you can walk away from ... is a good one! You are one lucky SOB. Praise the big GUY upstairs, buy another Z and get on with your life. Glad to hear that you are fine!

Judging by the other car in the pic, it was a typo, I think he meant blue blur.

Sorry, blue blur. Stupid autocorrect. A 2015 Hyundai Sonata.

Why call a lawyer? I'm assuming it will be a pretty standard totalling of the car where the biggest dispute is going to be related to the value of the car. I definitely owe way less than even the most parsimonious estimate of it's worth.

Just asking, not trying to be cocky. Is there something I should protect myself from?

Insurance company should provide a lawyer. It's just good to protect yourself.
