Oil change

I know the debate never ends on which oil to use, however, I just want something to go off of as I have no clue. I live in mid-Michigan, and will only drive the z during sun seasons. Outside temps will range from 50-90. The car is 2012 and has about 55k miles and is a daily, not a track/drift car. Now, lets hear it!

Dom, My brother-in-law's sister uses used 5-20 in her Sentra. Says it works great and it's cheap. She lives in Michigan too. So....

I heard he mounts a sickle on his APR splitter and just drives the Z back and forth.

And oh, yes. Once he's out of traction we're gonna be running far and fast. :santasleigh2:

OP: In case you haven't noticed, we have A LOT of "which oil is best for..." threads. These threads very quickly turn into a contest to see who can make the most clever oil-related jokes

I don't know about ya'll... but... I've been using my motorcycle's Lucas 2 stroke oil in my Z for the last 2 changes... a little smokey, but dam if she don't run great! And I feel so much more power for some reason. Like HP gains all over the place!! Holy mother!!! I'm probably on to something here.

Updates as necessary.

Yea, but it’s a giant PITA Putting it in the gas tank, filling up with gas, and then having to jump up and down on the back bumper to mix it properly.

I've picked up huuuuge HP gains by replacing the stock oil filter with a Mason jar filled with sand from Frenchman Flat wrapped in soiled XXXL pantyhose.
