Note to self. Never be that old guy IF I ever get older.

Right? Had he said that to a Mustang driver, i'd be inclined to agree since the first time i drove one (Light tune 2015 5.0) I hit the throttle and instantly thought "I know exactly how idiots crash these"

Most people think I'm just some ricer thanks to the wing. Two dudes in a camaro roll up on me looking like they wanted to race; I could hear their engine knock when accelerating over my own car, so i just rolled my windows up and slowed down to 55 lmao.

I've been known to goat some. Smash the pedal, nail 2nd, and then cruise mode. :D and watch them take off into the sunset.

hahaha, i'll admit, I'm that guy who will roll a bit at the stop light to see if the other car jumps while it's still red.

Almost every Redneck in a Mustang/Camaro/Challenger here runs 86 octane. I figure it’s because when you spent every penny you had on the down payment you can’t afford to put good gas in it.

Not to mention when you get 11 MPG...

Here’s what comes to my mind every time some yahoo in a “muscle” car pulls up next to me looking for trouble....

The best part is I typically get friendly waves and thumbs ups from Ferrari drivers. I even had some guy park next to me and ask questions about my car at a COTA race day. (there were plenty of open spots in the lot).

I get a lot of comments on the Z. Usually when I'm getting gas. I'll have someone walk up and say a few things. 99% positive. What's funny. Every once in a while. I get some idiot that wants to race. I'll ask him what size is his rear tires are. He'll tell me, and I start to laugh. Pissin' him off. I'll tell him that my front tires are BIGGER then his rear tires. He'll look at them, then look at the rears, and walk away. I'm packin' big meat. 285-345.

That was before we knew about good tires, suspensions, bigger brakes; you know all the stuff that might keep us from flying away... :bowrofl::bowrofl:

I have a Dr. friend that used to tinker with Scarabs. That was before he decided that he would probably be a better doctor than a wrench turner.

This rarely happens to me but yesterday I was stopped at a light when a jacked up pickup with oversized "off-road looking tires" rolled up next to me and started revving his engine. When the light turned green, he hauled ***. My wife asked what was his deal and was he wanting to race. I just said "yes" while shaking my head.

When we caught him at the next light we noticed that not only did he have his wife with him but a young (6 y/o?) daughter standing up looking out his back window which had been slid into an open position. (He also had his windows down--either he loves listening to his exhaust or he can't afford A/C.) When we saw his kid standing up, we just look at each other and simultaneously asked, "WTF is wrong with him?"
