I ran those times on the stock 19 inch tire's. Can not wait to see what the DR's will do.
In responce to the super charged Mustang, with 550 hp. It will be a quick car, but wait till somebody show up with a twin turbo 370 z.
I will bet on the z to be faster.

Slightly more impressive, but a 1.97 60' still isnt much to write home about on a well-prepped track. I figure you might cut a 1.6-1.7 with the DR's, and you'll probably run a high 12.5XX, assuming you dont blow the pumpkin to pieces :)

Comparing modded cars is typically a waste of time because any car can be modded to go fast.

keeping the conversation to stock cars isn't realistic. Majority of Mustang owners have the stock exhausts off before putting the first 20 miles on the car. However I think you are all overlooking the fact that it is a 5.0 aluminum block. The new shelby350 added a roots blower and they are "in the realm of 500hp" which is only about 88hp over stock. Ford understands that they can't put an engine in the GT that will out power their GT500 for a fraction of the price, Nissan puts forth no such limitations. They aren't competing with other cars in their lineup but rather cost, safety, and engineering standards.

Or your brother is a terrible driver...the 5.0 is a sick setup.

Way to revive a dead thread.

But yeah, assuming the 5.0 will hook it's in another league in terms of acceleration.

Ha ha im sure you like to believe that but the 2011 GT will have its way on any track where you can average near triple digit speeds...
