2019 370z review

No matter how bad Nissan has slacked in making a competitive vehicle. The Z will always have a timeless fun to drive factor. He does criticize it for being Truckish. But honestly. I think that pick up truck feel in a tight light package is what made the Z unique n awesome.

Why does the link take me to a Mazda CX-3 review?

I'm guessing this is the right link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egjf-Uh3B38 Mostly good review.

Truckish? How?

I've driven plenty of trucks in my time... coast to coast and other. The Z feels nothing at all like 'truckish' to me. Nice review though.

Zs kick ***!

Haha...I saw that review yesterday - I was curious to see what one would say since it's been about 4years since the Nismo refresh. As for the review - it felt like he was going down the rabbit hole of 'the Z is no longer relevant' type of deal. Then after driving it - to see him bust out with a big grin (I think we all experience that when we drive our cars) - his whole tune changed about the car and whether or not it was a fun ride etc. The one thing I noticed is that Nissan FINALLY put in a trunk release (when did this happen)?

As for the truckish review of the manual - I believe the guy does drive a 2018 Cayman GTS as his 'daily' and we all know our manuals aren't the easiest or the most 'connected' like a Honda is etc.

:iagree:

it was just funny, when he made it run, the smile on his face...
I know it would be nice to have a newer Z, but this one still brings smiles to my face and still gets lots of looks..
:driving:

To me.... It's torque delivery. That was my impression. It has a pick up truck pull. N that's not a bad thing combined with Z handling. It makes the Z unique

I want to open my trunk from inside too!!!

I'm kinda happy that I haven't driven enough pickups to draw a comparison.. I can only compare to R34 GT-T boost kick (previous car) and a 911 (friend's car). 911 was what tipped me into the idea "ohhhh big NA engine.. yeah that's nice". Bought the Jap version though. MEATY!

I pretty much agree with everything in this review video. He was honest with everything about the car including the "truckish" part, though I only think that the sound of the engine itself in the cabin is the only truckish trait. Other than that, he's spot on with what he said. And of course, he could have used the word "truckish" a bit less. Maybe "less refined" than newer styled cars.

Overall, a good review.

Lol, guess what..it wont open with the car running lol. Just found that out the other day...thought the damn switch was broken already (2018 car). Probably I just missed that in the owners manual. :)

I just checked my '18 & the trunk will open with the engine running.Once the car is moving though, it won't open.

Curious to know how you found that out? Somebody running behind the car?

I just went to the garage, started car and tried to release hatch. No dice. Neutral, parking brake on, no difference.

Turn car off and the hatch releases instantly.
