Great, if better send it back to them and get the money back.

Plus, they should know what their dealer has done.

Funny how the finance manager told me the clutch master cylinder and shocks are not covered under bumper to bumper warranty. He also told me the clutch master is part of the pressure plate. What I find funny is they swap out parts in the lot to fix their mistake and hope the owner of that car doesn't complain. They even sold me road hazard program and key replacement program , hoping I would use it to get it fix and get a second new key. If you guys look up their dealership on cars.com their cars are way over price. The used 16 black Nismo finally dropped from 38000 to 32000. The Black Nismo is worse than mine.

BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP I don't know where they got their great customer service from.

op, i don't know how much you know about your car, but after a quick search this is what i found based on the carfax:
You are the third owner. The first owner bought it and sold it to a dealer. The dealer then sold it to the second owner as a cpo. During the ownership of the second owner, the vehicle was damaged twice, and some interior pieces were fixed. The second owner sold it back to another dealer (future nissan) and listed it for sale as a pre-owned vehicle, no where does it list it as cpo. More ammo for you...good luck...

WTF! can you post a screen shot of the Carfax you looking at?

Please post pictures of the car... I'm curious to if the car has the correct seats. Wrong rotors and such sounds like they may have parted the car out before the repo.

every thing is original except the front rotors and back tires

Hope you get this worked out and they buy back the car. However until this is worked out, I would not drive the car and put miles on it. Trust me on this!! Best of luck.

I'm so sorry that this 'gift' turned into such a nightmare. I am sure that you're disappointed, but it's probably worse for your wife.

Hope everything will work out to your satisfaction.

Any update, OP?

Thesmoke90 10-24-2018 05:12 PM

I still don't think there is a legal definition of a 'certified' pre-owned car.

JARblue 10-24-2018 07:15 PM

Certified doesn't mean shìt in court...

sp911 10-25-2018 09:15 AM

get rid of it and get a new one. the car also!

The most remarkable aspect of this story is being gifted a Nismo Z.
