Nismo = better brakes (same as sport I think), nismo wheels (wider front and rear), VLSD, recaro seat backs (base of seat is the same as sport and base), different exhaust, different tune (350hp instead of 332)

I think tech package adds nav and something else and touring also adds leather seats with seat heaters and stuff. Somebody will have to correct me on the details, but it's something like that.

If you just want performance, there are basically two camps, sport if you're going to do some mods, but nothing crazy, nismo if you're pretty much not going to do anything (as it basically comes with a different exhaust and tune. If you like doing things yourselves and adding your own touch (intakes, exhaust, tune, wheels, brakes, etc.), the sport is a good option. The sport has great brakes too which you can upgrade if you get really serious (to a stoptech setup or something). It's basically a wash, and the real decision here is to get what you want.

The nismos were a bit on the higher end of what I could afford, so I preferred a low mile sport that I could modify as I desired over a longer time period (keeping it fresh/interesting to me). My 2 cents.

Tech has the Nav, backup camera, and bose audio.

The backup camera is the 'can't live without' option in the tech package in my opinion.

Ah, that's what it was. Backup cameras in this car are so useful. I ended up going with an aftermarket headunit w/ apple car play, because that felt like a better setup than the stock headunit and didn't need the premium for the rest of the tech package. SO USEFUL for a car with blind spots that hide planets. Makes backing out of grocery store parking lots way less scary.

I just can't see any economics in why a Nismo is worth all the extra coin they charge for one.

Wrong. The Nismo and base+sport both have the same vLSD.
