Waving

Fellow 370z owners - I feel that when we see another Z on the road, we should wave to each other (situation permitting of course). :tiphat: The few Z's I saw in NE Ohio all waved to each other, but it seems here in the SE where Z's are more abundant, not everyone waves...

Word....

I have tried to wave at 370s here but no one seems to give a ****.

MightyBobo 12-26-2009 08:50 AM

Ive gotten some waves from 350's. The only 370 Ive run into with an owner that I DONT work with (while I was in my 370 too, at least), was going my way. Came up, tossed a wave, and sped off (sadly, I was just turning off at the time).

Here in Houston, I've been waved at or "thumbs up" a few times. Actually, I've been "thumbs up" by many non 370z owners. I try to return the gesture when I can. :tiphat:

I flash my lights at any Z from 240 thru 350.

I'd flash at 370s too, but I'm starting to think I have the only 370Z in CT :icon14:

i got a wave and a thumbs up from a 370Z here so i did the same :)

i try to say "what's up?" to most Z drivers. 350Z owners seem to be the most oblivious (stock ones that is). 240Z-300ZX owners usually know what they're driving and the camaraderie involved.

There aren't a lot of Z's where I live, but half of the ones I have seen tried to race me. I have yet to see another 370z.

I TOTALLY agree.

I wave at every one I see, only gotten it back once or twice.
When I had my vette, it was one of the commandments that you waived to the other ones. If you didn't wave, the dude may flip around to educate you on the importance of the vette wave, rofl.

I remember the days of the VR-4 spoiler wave, that was fun. I usually just flip the brights.

A few months ago, a guy and is girlfriend in a GT-R waved and gave me a thumbs up. I returned the favor. It was a very good experience.

MightyBobo 12-26-2009 11:54 AM

People try to act too cool now to give a wave back. I give anyone and anything that looks good a thumbs up. GT-R's, vettes, nice sounding F-bod's or Cobras...whatever.

I did give a camaro that obviously had a lot of engine work done a thumbs up and was shocked when he gave it back. Sad to think those guys who we normally think of as rice haters are more polite than us. :icon14:
