How does he stay in business with such crappy tunes? I guess there are just that many suckers that only see numbers and think their car magically makes some crazy amount of power over what any other 1 of that model does? I can almost understand skewing numbers to some extent, but does it not occur to people that you can only throw out so much crap before people start throwing it back?

That's been a point in him being called out. He claims these time but has never posted a single time slip.

No idea.. you know some people just get a nice car cuz they like it but know nothing about cars so they get screwed over by guys like these who just show high numbers but aren't the true numbers. That's why before I got tuned I looked around before I went to saul. There's only a few tuners that I trust when it comes to my z. Saul is definitely one of them and the others are out of state haha

I've heard a lot of good things about Saul and his tuning capabilities. Jon @ Z1 did mine. I'm about 3 hours from them. If I was in your part of the world, it would be Saul.

This guy told me he thought anything less than 360whp was low. There seems to be a group of VQs that this Turbo Joe guy has suckered. He told me he knew of 1 guy making 375 and him and somebody else were both making 385, but he "likes to be conservative" and only really advertises the 380 number.

If only our engines were able to make this much hp NA hahaha

Apologies, we redlight anything under .5 sec reaction at our 1/8th, i noticed his were claiming to be near 0 reaction. Also, if you are getting that for 1/8th it clearly shows he doesn't have what he claims.

Super side note. I haven't done my research on gearing, but is there someone that's done the larger gearing that can show those numbers? Definitely not trying to defend the guy.

also, i backed it up. i ran 12.899 then my buddy said it was a fluke i went back out and ran 12.900 i said close enough? lol

Gearing: i know some guys who change it up and it def works for them and lowers their times. i dont believe it'll change up your HP readings.

this dudes numbers can be skewed simply by changing some stuff in the dyno read out. doesnt have anything to do with his car.

I just saw where he said Sean @ Battle Performance did a lot of custom work and tuning on the car. After a quick search, I can't find anything on that company other than a facebook account, though the most recent post on there is March 4, 2013.
