Hehe.... you’re right. I should be driving it more during the summer. In the winter, forget it! They put more salt down than the Utah Salt Flats. My Z would turn to dust in no time. Can’t do it.

Yeah, the weather is the best... Politics not so much!
Enjoy!

500 miles? Wow I'll be looking you up in 10 yrs. wanting to buy your Z !

I put 15,000 miles on her in the past year, but our usual winters are 2 weeks of what y'all would call late fall. No salt, no snow, just occasionally freezing temps and ice every 4 to 5 years.
Our trade off is hurricanes, so don't get too jealous, lol.

[QUOTE=Airwilf;3707289]I only put 4000 km/2500 miles on it since I bought it in mid June. Down to 2 cars now, the Z & our Mazda, so I'm leaving the insurance on it in case I need a second car in an emergency or similar situation. Had a winter car last year but sold to the brother- in- law , so we are down to 2 for the first time in many years. May take the Z out on nice sunny dry days as I have a heated garage if it needs a bath.[/QUOT. On those nice sunny days beware of the salt dust left on the road!

You are the MAN!
I won't be able to touch your Zs mileage, with my daily drivers no matter how long I keep them (230,000 mi.) is my highest, and the body is pretty well shot !

I hate not being able to drive it all year, but that's the price one pays for living in the North. Put her to bed in the garage 2 weeks ago with 28955 miles on the clock, but at least I see it every morning and evening when I leave/come home from work...

I cover mine so I don't see it daily but..... there are a couple times a year (usually closer to spring) where I'll peel back the cover just to have a peek!

I want to keep mine pristine and beautiful. Also, If I keep myself from driving it for about a week or two it feels like a different car when I hop in it. Never gets old.

Me too! I wash the car and then cover it for a week or two at a time. If I drive it again however I won't cover it until I wash it because of dragging the dirt and dust on the paint when I put the cover back on. The car is black so you can see EVERY SINGLE imperfection. It's honestly really stressful.

My Z is a 2012 touring/sport. I bought it used off the car lot in late 2015 with 10,700 miles on it. It now has 15,900 miles and has it's regular place in my garage. I do need to drive it more, I know. And I love to drive it! The nice thing about being in SE Colorado is it doesnt snow all that much, and when it does, melts off quick. But the big plus is they dont use salt on the roads here, just gravel.

Yeah, black is beautiful, it is also a bitch!
I have this routine after I drive but, that is a whole different story for a different section

Oldguy, they do use some salt here but it's mixed with lots of sand to minimize the run off crap from damaging the vineyards & fruit orchards.:tiphat:
