I mentioned the avie because you alude to a plane hanger and since that was a fine specimen (of a plane to the left), I thought maybe that was a lady friend of yours (also a fine specimen) leaning over your plane.

So, the weight keeps it in place. Reminds me when I learned railroad tracks weren't spiked into the earth...they just lay there on top of the ground with nothing except weight holding them in place.
