Default Which 370z is good for me?

I was looking at the different configs on the 370z and I was leaning toward nismo until I read a bunch of reviews to only find that there wasnt that much of a step up in performance and most of the extra options were stripped out.

Then I was looking at the roadster (convertible) but the Nav system is not offered in that vehicle, which is an option I would love, especially with the bluetooth. I know the sport package is a must, I want the nav system for the BT and traffic updates. So touring version and base are left...

Also I haven't driven a stick before but the syncrorev match seems to make it a little easier during downshift and a lot of my friends know how to drive a stick so I could learn. Although the 7spd automatic with paddles looks alright...What do you guys think?

all of this is up to your personal opinion on what you want out of your car. me? I'm not a fan of convertibles. I wanted nav but i couldnt bring myself to swing the extra cash for something that I MIGHT use once or twice, and I didnt care about heated seats or leather. so base w/ sport package was the way I went. But its all on what you want and are willing to spend. good luck with your decision and welcome to the forum.

Can you put the nav in the base? I thought it was only the Touring model that you could add Nav to?

Roadster with Nav? Now were talking.

What colors does the softtop come in?

Any inputs on manual vs auto.

And thanks, this forum will definitely be helpful once I get my Z, hopefully before winter ends.

Well I love the manual, and for me black top is the best.. but thats just me..
Being in the south the roadster was a no brainer.. although I love the lines of the coupe !!

Head over to your local dealer, and take a test drive so you can get a better feel of the car, and make a better decision of what is best for your needs.

i would always say that a manual is more "natural" for a car like this, so I wouldn't have really considered a 7AT. That being said...if you know your going to be stuck in a lot of traffic the automatic may make more sense.

If you won't be stuck in traffic i would definitely go with the manual. It shouldn't take you too long to learn to drive a stick, especially if you get a friend to help you out some afternoon or just mess around with it in a parking lot.

C'mon man! you won't buy a roadster 'cuz it doesn't have Nav?

If you really wanted a convert. you would not be asking this question.

The roadster and coupe are two different cars. The roadster is much more fun IMHO.

You are gonna learn to drive stick w/a 30K+ car? Get an auto.
