Back in the Good Old Days, a car was pretty well worn out at 100,000 miles. Not so much nowadays. If the car has been properly maintained, 100,000 miles is not a problem. Just make sure you have a thorough inspection done by a 3rd party. I would change all lubes/fluids (engine, transmission, differential, brakes, etc).

I'd be more worried that it's a flooded car from the recent hurricanes.

No idea what a good price would be.

What kills the deal for me is that it's just a base and not a sport. When I was shopping I think I found sport models in that same price range and mi so why go base.

Just saw the "notes" listing it as a sport package even though it is not which means as usual your dealing with incompetent car dealers and they just based their price off the sport package even though it isn't.

hard to judge, but an inspection is in order....
did you check again KBB or any of them to see what they suggest book should be...
Have you looked at any others, for price comparisons..
also has it been mod...

Check for 0011 and 0022 OBD faults that indicate impending gasket (oil pressure) failure that will tank the motor. Those gaskets were upgraded in '12.

You got about 150k miles on the transmission before you start having serious issues with it.

Also the ad misrepresents that the car has the sports package; it does not.

My 2002 Jeep Liberty is about to turn 100K and you wouldn't know it. I'm the only owner so I know everything's well take care of and maintained. As others have said, a good inspection by a mechanic is in order and then change all the fluids.

I read the vehicles notes and it says it has dual climate control. I have a 2010 base with sport package and I have auto climate control but no dual control.

How about if you're regularly changing the fluid?

I got my '10 Sport/Touring last year for $15k with 77k on the clock. For that price it should be a Sport. Whatever you do make sure the diff mounts aren't leaking and axles aren't clicking. Also note you'll pretty much need plugs immediately if they haven't been done yet. Then change ALL fluids.
