Where do you put your phone?
So I have a roadster touring sport.
and a Samsung S8+ (too big for cup holder) Sure I can put it in the arm rest but gota lift it put it in there, ... bottom line is arm rest is much of an inconvenient If I put it anywhere else including on the passenger sit it goes flying under the seat, .... So I was thinking maybe one of these "Pocket" that go between the seats and central area ???? Where do you put yours? |

Droid, goes here, also not a bad spot for videos http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1502057697

Mine I just put on the passenger seat or in the drivers door.
|
pants pocket
|
passenger seat, between where the back/bottom cushions meet.
|
Center console. The wire to connect for Android auto is in there
|
I put my phone right in front of the shifter, where the hazard and SRM buttons are. Quick within reach, and visible when using Google maps.

You may want to try this thing that I bought off of eBay. You get a 1.5" dia flat magnetic piece to put inside the back of your phone case. Then the main part slides into/onto your A/C vent louvers on the dash. Then your phone just stays on it magnetically. Works well and it is pretty cheap....

I have the pillar mount from Proclipusa.com

In the armrest since the USB is in there too.
Basically it doesn't fly around and I sure as hell never look at it. |
anything magnetic does not work well with my wireless charger.
in front of the shifter. well that's where I put it at first but it flies at the first corner. |
I bought one of these for my old Galaxy Note 4. My current phone is the same: Galaxy 8+. It fits in this as well.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I upgraded my phone charger to support USB-c when I got the 8+. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I don't yet own a tester for USB-c, but the USB A plug I tested and it drives 5.15V which is within specification and will not burn up your battery. I also bought a USB-c to USB-c cable. I had an old scrap of velcro I put around the windshield mount. I gathered up the slack in the cable with it and left the end with a few inches free to make it easy to plug in. The adapter lives in the passenger footwell plug. |

If I don't have a passenger I wedge it into the passenger seat between the top and back. It stays tight, doesn't fly around, and I can still have cords sticking into it. If someone is there it goes in the drivers door and let me tell ya, it's a b**** to get it out of there sometimes. I wear slim pants so the pocket is a no go when driving lol.

Nowhere cool, just the passenger seat.
|
In the armrest & turned off. I don't want to be bothered with it when I'm cruising.

Shirt pocket, and there it stays.
Mine is in a fold-over case, so it wouldn't work with the windshield mount. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk |

I picked up this Qi mount on Amazon a couple of weeks ago. I wish it was a little more robust in quality but it's not bad. It holds and charges my s8+.
I've cut off the base and still shaping it a bit more to better fit between the console and bolster panel. Here is where I'm at so far if I can get pictures to show up. |

I rigged one of those magnetic holders. It's rubber mounted and very adjustable. It's never in the way of shifting or the passenger.

Cup holder.

i'm a big fan of the non-tech nismo cubby :icon17:
keep my essentials in there |
Usually in my pocket.
On long road trips, I set it at a right angle in a leather phone holder I had for an old cell phone, and I rest it between the e-brake and the rise in the center console. Not suitable for spirited driving, but fine for highways. |

I use a proclip mount to hold the phone on the right side of my radio. I use apple carplay so the phone is displayed using the headunit and use voice commands to have siri read/send text messages or place calls, ect. I dont have to touch the phone or play with any buttons while driving.
I stole Birdmanx1's picture to show location of the holder. http://www.the370z.com/members/birdm...59-proclip.jpg |

people that puts them in pockets you have large phones like Note 4? I can't drive with this in my pocket. I used to put it in passenger seat but now I have this car seat pad that have pockets. I didn't want to keep it since it wasn't serving my comfort need but I kept it for putting my wallet and phone
