Cooltoy no worries at all my wording should have been a bit more clear. Just sucks when you are driving minding your own business and someone decided to make a dumb move like that. Ruined a car I put so much time and effort into. But, at the end of the day everyone surived that matters the most.

I have been looking at other cars in case they do write it off (BMW 435, Lexus IS and RC, Audi A5) and not gonna lie, none of them stand out or give me the feeling my Z does, even 8 years later.

Glad you're ok, the car doesn't look that bad but there is also a lot you can't see. Did any of the the airbags deploy?

Hi no the airbags did not go off they stayed intact. If its just bumper and fender and hood replacement no big deal I am worries more about frame damage etc I can live with replacing body parts but when it comes to the frame and internal damage that worries me.

IIRC, the FSM has point-to-point frame measurements for checking for damage.

yea but now you don't have a clean car fax. which would kill the value of the car. heck 8yrs old no clean car fax. i would hope they totalled it and walk away and look for a low mileage clean z car to buy.
