He couldn't see how wide your tires were, he though he was just chasing an ordinary Z.

Been though Hot Tub. Bent up both front and rear stock bumpers. It's a tight fit with a full size truck.

Drivers today are just bad, period. Driver's tests are a joke. Combine that with higher hp cars, more efficient transmissions and of course, many more gadgets for the driver to play with and you end up with 95% idiots on the road not paying attention and mashing the gas from light to light. Darwinism of bad drivers is surely needed.

Not sure if I'm more surprised or impressed. Maybe both. That would be one seriously tight fit. Only saw one full size do it but had a bobbed box so doesn't really count.

Been out to Moab 4 times now for our PW Meet that we have in May after the Jeep Easter Safari. Get a lot of questions from the jeep guys. Like "what the helll you doing out here with full size trucks?" Or "you just came through that?" I've been on most of the trails. Going this weekend to Rausch Creek in north East Pa. for our east coast meet. That place is TIGHT jeepers trails.

Heard about Rausch but never been out that way. I'm jeepless now anyways so no wheeling for me.

Just kidding. :D

On those diesels. That's called rolling coal. We got those idiots too. :shakes head: I own a Dodge Power Wagon. When I drive it. I get these idiots who want to drag race their mall crawlers. I ask them, lets go out into the woods. I know some really nasty trails. They all back down. They don't want to get their mall crawlers dirty. :shakes head:

Nice looking power wagon Rusty. Here is my other other vehicle. Gets me trough the trails at Rausch. I will admit I don't get any waves from other Z's when driving the Z but every Jeep waves at me in my Jeep. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5bbe1e9a1f.jpg

I don't know what it is with this site....

Given their lack of picture auto-sizing here, it would be great if posters all knew how to size their own images before uploading or linking.

Agreed, that's why it's insanely fun to just watch these people disappear through a set of corners, and you don't even really have to put in a lot of effort either. I just wish for ONCE someone could interview them after they've wimped out through a series of turns and have them explain why they can do 15mph over the limit on the straight sections while weaving all over the place, but they cannot just go at a moderatly decent pace through a not very technical section of 30-50mph turns?!

I don't understand the gravitation towards even wanting all the in car distractions. I don't even understand why it's a selling point. It's not supposed to be a home theater video game leather sofa on wheels. Just like in the savage geese videos, is the manufacturer actually going to support fixing this **** when it goes bad in a few years?

I actually look forward to driving as means of avoiding distractions.

This is why we need to ban marketing as a major in all public / private education. Get back to letting engineers and designers and DRIVERS make cars fun again.

I had a whole paragraph on how much I hate marketing people, but I'm going to be nice :driving:

We have a special variant of this kind of driver here in Colorado; they'll sit literally 6 inches from your bumper going down-mountain, but figure 10-under the limit is as fast as God intended going up-mountain.

It's not a power thing - cheap Hondas have 300HP now - it's some sort of perception issue with the up and down of the road.

As for the corners, your Z actually masks just how well it can go around a bend compared to a common econo-box... So what we figure to be not exceptionally challenging at 40mph will see a sport bike laid over to the foot-peg to do it at the same speed - and be completely out of the ballpark for the above-mentioned Honda. :driving:

My favorite was a Challenger SRT messing around at highway speed and then we took this interchange. I know where to apex it and he didn't. Left him in the dust but it must of scared the **** out of him since he dropped down to the speed limit after. Last bit is off camber so you need to let it drift out. Apex is right where that truck is at. A lot later than you would expect if you haven't done it before.
