Not today, but a few days ago. The weather has been early spring like here in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), so, what else to do than take the car out? Unhooked the pretty lady from the battery tender and took her for a good spin.

When you cars in storage and you drive it for the first time after three months, you appreciate what you have. Really is a fantastic feeling.

Fired the car up to drive home today and had dead pedal. I only had 1/4 throttle, that is it. Shut the car off and same thing. I drove a little ways, same issue. Pulled over and wiggled the throttle body cables and fired the car back up. Fixed. Ugg, guess I may have a throttle body getting ready to take a dump.

Today I took my wife to work. She wanted to carpool since her car was in the shop (see http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivetrain/125988-what.html ). She was on a conference call on her way to work. Guess how it sounded for those on the other side?

"I'm sorry, could you repeat that after 4th gear?"
"Sorry to interrupt, but at a redlight, you have 40secs... GO!"

Lots of downshifts and blips and nice pops and burble sounds at deceleration. She was stressed and deaf after stepping out of the car. I actually felt bad for her. She has no idea that I've been contemplating (for a long time now) a muffler delete and getting straight pipes.

I need to move back north where they have cellars to store all of life’s crap.

It’s generally easier to run out to Lowes and buy a new tool then find the old one in that mess. [i will find you copper pipe cutter, you can’t hide forever!]

I spent some quality time with the "Z" yesterday, washing and waxing her. Sort of like a reward for spending the last two months studying and PASSING the AWS Solutions Architect Certification exam! I guess you can teach and old 55 year old dog new tricks... :happydance:
