My nice new and clean epoxy floor lasted 4 years before giving up the ghost. Between the kick stands on bikes, floor jacks, welding and fabricating. That stuff is hard on the floor. So be careful. ;)

I can see the jack stands may be a problem for the epoxy.

1/4" plywood cut an inch bigger than the base of the jack stand helps. If you have a heavy vehicle. Then 1/2' plywood. Floor jacks are another issue.

Thanks for the tip, I was thinking of doing something like that. I just look at it as inevitable that the floor's going to get jacked up.
