Where at so I can stay away from there? I run 20% on the back and 32% on the side windows. A few places are bad but most don't care.

I took a trip back to NJ for a wedding (were I was born and raised) and actually had a State Trooper approach my passenger side with his hand on his side arm, so it could be worse. They don’t allow ANY tinting that doesn’t come from the factory.

After explaining why I couldn’t produce a physical insurance card, why the car didn’t have an inspection sticker on it, and showing him my stack of PBA cards, he relaxed. A bit... a-hole still read me the riot act and told me to “get rid” of the tint if I planned to drive through “his state”.

I have no plans to do either.

Just tell the cop "I'm here illegally" and you can do whatever you want!

FWIW NJ is a socialist republic I wouldn't spend a dime in any such state.

I do not go that way very often. Never to NJ.

Nice choice! I love the mounting location. Looks quite stock. Being receded a little bit probably helps with blocking any potential glare too, if any.

The headlight and fog light color look to match pretty well. Are you on stock HID bulb?

The tiny indicator bulb (194 size next to the projector lens), did you change that from clear to orange? Or is it just the contrast of picture?

What's that black thing mounted around the lower right corner of your license plate?

LMAO, I am a retired LE officer and hate that BS pulled by some cops. The bottom line is you are not bound by their state's laws for those kind of things. That is why he didn't write you for it.

Thanks. These are not the brightest available but definitely enough power, and a good price too (i think about $120 retail). They fill-in a little better for the brights. I may angle them a tad outward, but I need to drive more to determine that. I just aligned them with the top of my OEM high-beams at a certain distance (not that short distance from my garage).

The color temp is 5000K by my estimate, and it doesn't match my Lasfit 6000K LED retrofit, which is fine. again, the SAE Driving lights are for when I decide to drive to Houston early in the morning or something like that. The indicator is an orange 194 incandescent bulb.

I don't know what you mean by the lower right hand of the license plate, but you might just be seeing the glare against where i cut the OEM grille.

I just got back from ZDAYZ in Blowing Rock NC. What a great time and awesome community. The event was not staged at the resort which was a good call. The area is beautiful and there are many great driving roads. Lot of good local food and plenty of reasonable lodging. We rented a condo and my portion was $70 a night. Hopefully more people will start showing back up for this great event. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...83f378ed36.jpg

Man, I've always wanted to make it to one of these. A bit far for me, but hopefully one day. I saw another member post about the NJ meet-up. I'm going to try to make that!

Purchased stage two tune from Ecutek, with different fuel maps (Remote Tune). Installed LED lights on the Map lights, cargo space, and license plate.

We all know Jars car isn't running either. He probably bought 14 others that sit in his yard while he debates what 73 sets of rotors to put on which ones.

Actually. Mike. If that is your real name...

I got the new power steering pressure sensor installed after tools showed up yesterday. Took some datalogs for the tuner on the test drive. She's purring like a jaguar on PCP :driving:
