I did not buy my car for it to sit in the driveway, or to only be driven on a clear, sunny, Saturday afternoon. I bought it to drive it, period. I have 3 cars to choose from when I drive to work, yet my Z is the ONLY choice unless it's in the shop for something.
I don't care about mpg or odometer readings. I start it up, I drive it around, and I enjoy driving it. You maintain it well, and the extra miles only hurt your resale, not the actual car. 17k miles just means you've gotten to enjoy the car about 3 times as much as the rest of us have! Sadly, it also means you're halfway done with your bumper to bumper warranty, haha!
