Something that worked for me when it happened to me. Jack up the drivers rear side about as high as you can go, I did it with the scissor jack. It was enough to at least get me the mile or so to the gas station. I did make a couple of really hard left turns just to try and slosh some fuel back over.

Oh man that is a good tip.. probably faster than waiting for AAA!

I have an older Phunk kit and it's loud (buzzy) but the car can do track days down to 1dot!!!!

.it is a bit buzzy though...

I read somewhere that the tank is a saddle design so this makes sense that it would work. Anyone got a pic handy of the tank shape and pump location?

Yes saddle and fuel pickup is on right under filler-cap

I have to admit I have never had this problem. After reading about it when I first bought my Z and becoming a member of this forum, I have never let the gas tank get less then 3/8th full before filling up.

I would get fuel starve at over half a tank on long high g (1.2??) right turns on the track but never had a problem on the road and I drive my tank to 3 dots regularly

I would fuel starvation when I had used 5 gallons at the track. I had a z1 antifuel starvation kit installed and no more issues!
