the amount of trial and error that has went into building possibly one of the most aggressive stock body Z's has been crazy. at a temporary stand still, but here's a teaser for those who haven't seen it.. #negative24 Cambergang

That's the dumbest thing I've seen all month.

SouthArk370Z 04-12-2017 09:31 AM

It's not my car, I'm not paying for the work, etc ... but ... I just can't understand why someone would do that to a sports car. If you want to destroy the handling, do it to a sedan. YMMV

JARblue 04-12-2017 09:32 AM

Nice contact patch

The exposed rim is perfect for grinding those curbs, too :ugh2:

Chuck33079 04-12-2017 09:32 AM

These cars just keep getting cheaper, huh?

Dear Santa, I would like nothing this year for Xmas but for this fool to be a member here and come in to defend this partial birth abortion of a build.

He's being flamed on Facebook about it, and has a lot of supporters too saying all sorts of idiotic "It's not your car" "It's unique" blah blah blah...

This looks more like BAG DRAGGERS, not BAG RIDERS. Brutal!!! It's a shame how some people can fook up such a nice car.

BAG DRAGGERS!!! :roflpuke2:

Jayhovah 04-12-2017 10:06 AM

It took me a solid minute to convince myself it wasn't on stands with wheels just leaning against it.

I am all for the "Its your car, do what you want with it" sentiment... but I have a hard time empathizing with this kind of choice. Am I that old already?

Somewhere, there is a tree. And this tree spends all of its time producing oxygen so the owner of this car can breathe. He owes that tree an apology.

JTM88 04-12-2017 10:35 AM

Lol at the most aggressive part. What does that even mean?

I don't think age has much to do with it. Forty years ago, we would jack up the back of a pony car for that quarter-miler look. It degraded handling, but most Mustangs/Camaros/Chargers/etc didn't handle worth a damn to start with. :) The 370Z is one of the better (if not the best) handling cars I've driven. Just seems a shame to ruin that.

And it goes beyond just good handling - it's unsafe. I'm surprised that one can legally run a setup like that on the street. Or is that meant to be a show car?

The older I get, the more function-over-form I become. Ie, carbon-fiber components are good; carbon-fiber overlays, not so much.

Cars like that 370 above get towed in my area

OTW Z-Boy 04-12-2017 10:53 AM

Sad face

DeliriousClam 04-12-2017 11:10 AM

Actually look at it this way. The more the 370's that get ****** like this one, the value of the non-****** ones will go up. Possibly moreso depending on how the Z35 turns out

Fuzzzy 04-12-2017 11:53 AM

Now there's a Z that won't be called "cute."

How does that tire even hold pressure?

OTW Z-Boy 04-12-2017 12:17 PM

Really sad face

God-Speed 04-12-2017 12:22 PM

Nissan Called, they want their Car Back!! :shakes head:

Redglare 04-12-2017 12:35 PM

Into a wall.

NRGz 04-12-2017 12:59 PM

Im not a hellaslammedflush kind of guy, but i have noticed that alot of people are now able to do this to their G/Z. I have seen quite a few of the 35/350 owners around here slamming them. Inching closer to the Z and bmw

I drove a station wagon in high school that looked like this. AFTER it jumped over a telephone pole laying across the road and went all Dukes of Hazzard.

I didn't realize unique and aggressive were synonyms for f***in' stupid.

Dwight Frye 04-12-2017 04:20 PM

There is only one word that adequately describes those who set up a car's suspension that way. And that word is retarded.

Aggressively retarded.

I think I figured it out. This picture was snapped a little too early. Wheels were in the midst of moving.
