The videos tend to always have Z's in either summer or all-season tires sliding around with no chance of traction. Commentator's seem to always ignore what tires they're running and simply insist that the Z is a summer car not fit for winter driving. Drives me insane...

Ignorance is bliss.

Up here in the 'Great White North' my winter beater is a '16 Tahoe LTZ. Can't wait to get the Z outta winter hibernation.

just traded in the old rsx type S on a 17 silverado 1500, does a tad better in the snow!

It's not the car that does bad in the winter. It's the tires. Get winter tires and your 750i will be a force to contend with.

Toyota Tacoma. I live in the boonies of Ontario...the snow is normally higher than the Z would be. Tires don't make a damn bit of difference....clearance does. The truck is high and four wheel drive doesn't hurt.

Either drive a '13 Grand Cherokee TrailHawk, or a '08 Power Wagon.

It's absolutely both. Snow tires on a Z only make it possible to drive it in snow, and perhaps slightly less dangerous. It certainly doesn't make it fun, and it certainly doesn't make it safe.

This is Minnesota. We don't screw around with our winter vehicles. First flake of snow and the Z goes in the garage for its long winter nap. Having said that, we've had several days in the 40's - 50's and the snow/ice has melted off the roads. I uncovered the Z, took it off the battery tender and drove it all day on errands today. Pushing the season for sure...normally it's rare that I can even drive the thing in March. I have no illusions though. History suggests that some of our biggest snowstorms happen in March.

I strictly drive my Z on week ends. My daily drive since last week is VW Jetta now, it replaces a Dodge Dakota SLT.

2004 Sentra 1.8S for whenever it's below 40F or I have to go to Wal-Mart (or any crowded parking lot).
