True that, it's insane over here I haven't met a single Mustang driver that didnt want to race lol. Not one! I remember a random stang'er from the street once came close to me just to ask me if I didn't mind driving to some road to have a few runs.. wtf lol

I live out in eastern Long Island, NY, plenty of spoiled rich brats driving fancy cars and empty streets. For those of you who may be familiar with Suffolk County, I also live about 5 minutes from the infamous Deer Park Avenue though I'm sure it's now owned by cops. All the same, I'll admit I had 1 run at 2am with an e92 M3 I couldn't say no but I try to drive sane and safe 99.9% of the time. Hell I have a camry as a daily driver just to keep the urge down.

Maybe it's the traffic here, but getting challenged at lights is not an issue.

I have grown up knowing both sides, my father loves American muscle but also has owned two Z cars in his life (280 & 300). I took my time deciding for myself on what I want currently and made my choice.
I love American muscle for its fast straight line speeds and unique style, but I just feel the cars have gotten stuck in their own time. The rest of the world is starting to move forward and they are holding onto older ideas or concepts. |

wow, I can understand volunteering my own car but volunteering someone else's car and having to call them up? I'll pass, still in a perfect environment I'd race the cobra in the mountains. No American car wants to race on anything but a 100% straight line, their gobbles of torque do little when the slightest bends are introduced, I would know I used to be the dumb mustang letting off in those situations.
