Mine doesn't get fully put away for winter. On warmer days with clean roads I'll take her for a drive. She is actually getting a reprieve this year. The weather has been great. However, soon she will spend most of the time in a heated garage with a battery maintainer. What I miss most is rowing my own gears since my winter car is an automatic.

Nope, I'm about that daily life.

Not a Z, but yes I'm getting ready to put my SLK320 up soon after the first snow before they salt the roads. Yes it depresses me, but Baby sees no salt!

I'm about to take mine OUT of storage :icon17: I've been out of the country for 5 months and I'm real excited to get back behind the wheel

Cold weather and rain are not something I am use to. No winter storage for this Z owner.

Still drive in the winter, not as much and never when salt, slush or snow is on the road.

Another Texas vote. We had 2 freezes in the same year here a couple of years ago. People like to of lost their minds. If it gets that bad, I'll switch off to the wife's 2500 HD for a couple of days.

Fresh set of G-Max all seasons and mine is ready to do winter battle in NH. I learned to winter drive in a 1965 Dodge Coronet 440, no prob.

We put my wife's Z away a few days ago. She always gets depressed about it. To the point that she talks about selling it so that she can get the new RS5 coming out (she wants to be able to drive it year round like I do my car) I keep reminding her that the good news is, she has a 3 year old Z with only 6k miles

Yes, sad every year when it hibernates for 4 to 5 months, but it's like getting a brand new toy again every spring! New tires on the Rubicon make this winter a little more tolerable though :driving:

It's kind of silly. Like telling your wife you are not going to make love for 4-5 months. There are folks in Canada that drive all year round. Just put winter tires on and drive except the few days when the snow is heavy or icy. Say you had 30 such bad days in a bad winter, when Its snowing and the roads have not been cleared. Taking a taxi or renting a car is probably cheaper than buying and maintaining a second car plus car insurance plus space to park the second car and such. Show love for your car by driving it!

Don't you just sell the car and buy another in the spring?
