Gonna buy new car

I probably wont trade my 09 370z touring non-sport but i can't decide on what i like. I'm not going to own another sports car or i'd basically like to drive a compact suv or just something different until i can save enough to realistically purchase that amg a45 or the RS3 when it gets here so for the next few years looking at the subaru crosstrek, maybe a used civic, i just teally don't know.

If you went from a 370z to a more subdued daily driver would mind sharing your opinion on what you got?

I would probably just a get a civic and call it a day. Good fuel economy, reliable, and inexpensive.

370z AT without sport package to a regular car is like not a big step down.

I like my quaife lsd, z1 brake upgrade and slightly larger than stock 18s all around. Plus full bolt-ons, to me it feels like a big one.

can u drive MT? if so, a compact hatch with MT is pretty entertaining to drive, plus cheap and good on gas.

Yeah, my last manual was a 92 camaro RS. Been awhile ;) for new the crosstrek is my leading candidate as its still sub 25k and saving with with a 200-250 monthly payment isn't bad.

Think i just want something that other people dont wanna race for a little while.

Used civic could be my ticket. And stick so im not bored with the lack of power.

If i want a 700 dollar payment that amg a45 is tempting but im thinking if i cant put down at least 30k on 53k cost then i probably shouldnt buy it plus im having trouble wrapping my head around spending over 50k on a car anyway.

Anyway, ive babbled enough. Appreciate the input.

np. i donno.. if u want to save, how about a used honda fit MT (2009-2014). those are actually pretty fun to drive and can do 0-60 in sub 8sec if manual.
most of the takata recalls, i believe, are now pretty much done.

This, a small zippy compact car that's standard.

Hell, I'd entertain the idea of a used Honda CR-Z. The only hybrid I know of with a MT, very zippy, great handling, and definitely fuel efficient.

I almost bought one before going with the Fiat Abarth instead... Should have stuck with my original idea and gone with the CR-Z. I'd probably still have it.

Appreciate all the suggestions from everyone. Gonna look at some fit's and crz's and see what i think.

What about a VW GTI? I picked up a loaded CPO 2013 mk6 with 8k miles (yes,8k) for less than $19k as my DD 6 months ago. It is a fun little car.

Oh yah! They're doing some very interesting engine swaps on the CRZ... S2000 and B20 Honda. And it's a great looking car not seen very often. But practically, a Civic SI would do nicely IMO
